Thinking, Underthinking, and Overthinking

Neither underthinking nor overthinking helps us much; while underthinking causes us to make foolish mistakes, overthinking makes  us see problems where they do not exist and overcomplicate the issues and questions we face.   Wisdom thus suggests that we must find a balance between these extremes, a reflective balance that harmonizes our thinking with the needs of the issue or question we seek to address.
