The Wise Use of Thought

Thoughts can be logical or illogical, can facilitate problem solving or impede it. Thought is a tool and like all tools, must be used wisely. Knowing how to use a tool wisely means knowing when to use it, in what way, and to what extent. We must know when to think and when to give thinking a rest, for while incessant activity exhausts us, activity alternated with rest brings us vitality.
