The Epistemological Middle Way

In terms of knowledge, one can position oneself at the extreme of deficiency and claim that we know nothing at all either for certain or even provisionally.  At the extreme of excess, one can claim that all of their knowledge is certain.  At the golden mean or middle way position, one can claim that one knows some things provisionally, but maintains a healthy skepticism. This, I think, is the wisest position of the three.
