A Tip for Meditation

When you sit down to meditate, set aside all of your goals, aims, and preoccupations. Set aside trying to attain enlightenment, set aside all of the work you have to do, set aside that irritating comment your coworker said, set aside those thoughts of that hot girl who’s driving you crazy.

Let whatever thoughts come, be. Witness them without getting caught up in them. Sit up straight, and breathe. The rest will take care of itself.
